Taming the recoil of a .223/5.56 tends to be a pretty easy feat – but this muzzle device reduces recoil with an aggressive design to keep you on target.  Similar to more expensive designs on the market, this 3-port muzzle brake/compensator does the same job as many 3-port brakes – dispersing recoil and muzzle blast to either side of the shooter, reducing recoil going into the shooter’s shoulder.  It also compensates through three angled ports in, which counteracts recoil.  The result is a device that diminishes muzzle flip and overall force for the shooter, leaving only the momentum of the bolt carrier to deal with. This is a steel 3-port muzzle brake for AR-15 platform rifles, threaded at 1-2x28 with a black finish. The three large side ports combined with top venting ports work together to redirect propellant gases at the muzzle, reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise during use.
