This shell delivers and effective shot pattern that places all projectiles on a man-sized target seven yards away. The Critical Defense .410 features a unique Triple Defense projectile pattern consisting of two .35 caliber round balls topped with one non-jacketed FTX slug.
Inside the Critical Defense .410, is the .41 caliber FTX slug which actually engages the gun's rifling, and contacts the target head-on, enabling a pattern assisted expansion that greatly enhanced terminal performance. Both .35 caliber round ball are made of high antimony, and cold swaged lead to resist deformation allowing for excellent penetration.
